The release of the LG Glimmer has been confirmed by Alltel Wireless. The confirmation comes shortly after LG had verified rumors of the phone heading to Alltel Wireless.
The Glimmer has the look of the LG Shine (available from AT&T Wireless) while the functionality of the Voyager (from Verizon Wireless). It is a dual band CDMA (800/1900MHz) device with EV-DO built in. Bluetooth is complimented with stereo headset support through A2DP. To top off the 2MP camera and the 2.8†WQVGA touch screen is the GPS capability of the phone.
It is set to be launched on the 13th of March with an expected price of $249.99 along with a 2 year agreement.
